The renovation of the Meliá Sitges Hotel was carried out in different phases. The Hotel did not close during the refurbishment works which presented an important coordination challenge.
The terrace, the restaurant and café-bar were renovated on an initial stage in 2009. The MICE areas on the Ground and Basement levels were carried out later in 2011. These areas comprised the gym, conference and meeting rooms and the lobby atrium.
