Servihabitat VPO

Due to the isolated nature of the plot, the affordable residential building rises outstanding in its urban context. The 63 units are arranged in two blocks laid out in an almond shaped plan that form a courtyard in its center. The open space between the two volumes, which is where the communal areas are located, allows for every apartment to have cross ventilation.
The cores of the building, both with a staircase and an accessible lift, are located on each side of the building. A reception space can be found at ground level on both ends.

The white concrete brick for the façade, with a 29x14x5 format, responded to the aim of expressing a solid massing and highlight the gaps and openings in the volume.

The residential units are arranged in 5 floors. Their lobbies and entrances are located at Ground Floor and the spare space on this level is filled with retail units.
The Basement level is built occupying almost the whole plot. Parking spaces, storage units for the apartments and storage space for the retail units are arranged within this level.
